Can not find much more information on what is happening.  Heard they are closed now, not opening until November.

Husa's FB page is gone too.

Got a bit more information............it will be known as Gaviota La Estrella Resort (administered/managed by the Gaviota Hotel Chain).

We have been to Playa Pesquero twice and were happy with our stays.  PP is administered solely by Gaviota I believe.  I was checking some other resorts that they administer and the ratings are pretty good.  Hopefully this will be a good thing for the former Husa/former Barcelo.

Hope that the price doesn't sky rocket.

It is in the Nolitours book 2014 - 2015. Haven't checked the prices out yet.
